TV Guide: Were the fans with you and Mariska during the negotiations?

Meloni: [snip] The vast majority believe money's not the issue. They were like "These are guys who are workers. And if they’re in a position to get as much as they can for the work that they do, good for them." And then there’s the other side that I'll call the "playa haters," who begrudged and were very upset that we should ask to get paid what we thought was at the very least fair market value.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAA OMG MELONI. SHUT UP. There are people who have lost their homes, their jobs, and can't afford to feed themselves or their families and you're bitching about MORE MONEY FOR ONE SINGLE EPISODE THAN PEOPLE SEE IN THEIR LIFETIMES??? LOLOLOLOL! SHUT UP AGAIN.

Damn, it feels good to be a playa hater. WTF? Really?

And y'know what Mr. Meloni? I think it's time we broke up. It was a sweet ride with highs, lows, sexy thoughts, and much obsessiveness in between, but I feel I've outgrown you. I think I will move on to more healthy TV relationships, and we'll both be happier for it. Oh, now, don't cry. You still have your $8.8 million and your other devoted fans. You won't miss me.

I'll continue to hold Oldskool Elliot and Chris Keller in my heart of hearts though, because good characters are forever. Someday I might even watch you in other things, to think back about the good days.

But really, it's not me, it's you. And don't bother sending flowers. This is better for both of us.

Gym Teacher: The Movie (starring Christopher Meloni of course) is coming to DVD February 3. I have the press release and three stills the studio released for you!

Just a few to whet your appetite. Airing right now on Nickelodeon is Gym Teacher: The Movie. Surprisingly good for Nickelodeon. Also, Amy Sedaris can come have dinner at my house any time she wants.







*snort* Someone please get this man a comedy when he leaves SVU. His true talents are being wasted there. He excels at comedy.

My co-worker C.C. noticed SVU filming yesterday on her way home from work. She only stopped for a few minutes, but another co-worker, C.S., stopped and hung around. Her patience paid off -- photos of both Meloni and Mariska. However, I cropped C.S. out of the photos, mostly because I have a lot of people who read my Flist and she doesn't need her face plastered all over creation.

This is thanks to curlygirli, who linked me to The Diane Neal Photo Gallery where there are photos of the March 28th shoot. This is the episode which has a major guest star, who is seen among the pictures. Don't click if you don't want to see who it is (although it's already been spoiled across the net).

I had quite a lovely birthday weekend, where I spent part of it indulging in delicious food (my last hurrah as it were. Back on the diet his week) and part of it looking at the tree in Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. I had never seen it before, so that was a treat. Photos to come. We even went up to Top of the Rock, the observation deck at the top of the building. It was amazing at night.

Thanks for all the great birthday wishes, Flist! Y'know, none of the people I work with wished me happy birthday, but the people on my Flist who never even met me offered me tons of Happy Birthdays (so much so that it took me two days to respond to them all. I think I got everyone).

Presents included a birthday call from my brother and niece Harmony (who's almost 4), where she sang Happy Birthday. I love that kid. I got $100 from my parents. My girlfriend got me a Mini Robo Panda, and this absolutely gorgeous silver dogtag that is inscribed "In Whatever Form It Takes, How Is Love Wrong?" I might have gotten a little teary eyed at that. Photos to come for that, too.

I even got my girlfriend to watch the last two episodes of Torchwood this weekend with the promise of boy kissing. I hadn't seen the season finale yet, and she said, "I bet Ianto will come running up and jump into Jack's arms and kiss him." We both squealed when it happened, by the way. I also loved the slightly cheesy Captain Kirk-esque pain!acting with Jack and the Horny Demon. Heh. Now I need to watch the last three episodes of Who to see where Jack went. January can't come soon enough.

Oh! And to further highlight my fangirlishness, when we finished the Top of the Rock tour we came down into the 30 Rockefeller Plaza lobby, where there was big photo array of all the NBC show stars. I got a picture of me next to Meloni, and it looks like I'm tickling his chin. Because I'm a geek. LOL.

Oh, and my opinion on the New LiveJournal Overlords and their weirdly-worded pronouncement about "decency"?

Nyet.

Oh, I was gonna go to bed early, but I feel it's my duty! Pay attention in the spot for the fabulous Kyle Gallner, who played Beaver on Veronica Mars.

After reading on tietuckluv about Teh Meloni's appearance on the cover of Hamptons magazine, I thought I would stop this morning and see if I could pick it up.

Yeah, not so much. I went to three different places, two of them Hudson News stands while I was in Grand Central Station this morning, and the third called Charlie's Smoke Shop down where I work in Chelsea.

In both of the Hudson News stands I was met with obvious disinterest when asking if they carried it or not. After my repeated request I got a sort of little limp-wristed wave, which didn't help point me in any particular direction. And since I do not speak Hindi, I decided a continued search there would be fruitless.

Down in Chelsea, I was able to find multiple copies of Buttman (I'm not kidding) and all sorts of other interesting magazines, but no Hamptons.

Maybe you can only get Hamptons magazine in the Hamptons? Where the rich write about the rich doing rich things?

I'll be in Port Authority tonight, and I guess I can try there as well. I'm not getting my hopes up, though.

On my way to work this morning, I came across NYPD notices taped to the parking meters, announcing that SVU would be filming in the neighborhood today.

I might have *coff* borrowed one that listed the filming locations. Hee. I'm bad. It's not like they have only one, though.

Monday, July 2 between 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Filming will occur in the following locations:
The East side of 9th. Ave. between W. 17th and W. 20th Streets
The West side of 9th Ave. between W. 18th and W. 19th Streets
1/2 block on the North side of W. 20th St. between 9th and 10th Avenues

Apparently they will also be filming on the property of the General Theological Seminary.

All those are within steps of my office. And, lucky for me, I was too lazy to pack a lunch today! I think I might have to walk around a bit to truly decide on what I want to eat. Heh.

Walking down 9th I already saw a few trailers, one with "Fin" and "Lake" taped to the doors. No super-fancy mega trailers that would announce Meloni and Hargitay, though. I also saw two that said "Lucy" and "Desi", which is pretty funny. There was one there that said "Stunts" as well and the guest star, although I can't recall the name.

I really need to get a little camera to carry around with me when I come to work for occasions such as this. Can you believe I even forgot my phone with its teeny tiny camera in it today???

I told you, didn't I?

Here it is...Teh Ass of Life on SVU!!!! Excited? Intrigued? Oh c'mon, you've seen it before...but never like this!!!

"Up my butt"..."Dirty old man" (Munch for the win)...."You suck"....BWHAHAHAHAAAAA!!! Some of the best lines of the season, despite the heavy-handed After School Specialness to the episode.

Also, when did Elliot get so dismissive about kids being bad? And also also, tell me again why SVU is investigating this?

Dammit, I missed him shirtless in bed again!!!

Photobucket has this new video-making thingy that's in the beta stage right now. I thought I'd give it a try with some of my Meloni screencaps to see if it works...it's kinda cool, but not without its minor problems. You have to choose from their music, which, okay. You can't quite delete certain images, nor can you change the speed at which they appear, but for a beta it's still neat. You'll note I ran out of song at the end, LOL. It's just for fun.

And you'll also notice I couldn't embed the freaking thing which means you need to make with the clicky. So. Sigh.

ZOMG!!!! ZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMG!!!! Elliot!Angst!!!! I wouldn't mind a nice hiatus after this so I can get Tobias and Elliot caught up on the angst.
