Happy Thanksgiving!

It has been a lovely few days because the bastards downstairs and their monster spawn have been gone to wherever and it has been blissfully quiet. Lord. I have never lived somewhere when those of us on the top-most floor are bothered because the people underneath are loud. These floors are hollow, I swear.

I made myself a chicken for today, since I'm the only one eating meat and I couldn't find a small turkey. My girlfriend made herself a vegetarian lasagna. I even called my Mom to get the recipe for her stuffing, which uses the giblets, and the recipe for the sweet potato casserole (the secret is syrup!)

There's pumpkin pie for dessert.
