Babz Chula auction

Yeah, so I bid on an autographed script from Nick Lea for the X-Files episode "Sleepless." It's a charity auction for a fellow actor suffering from cancer.

Interesting to note that it's autographed and personalized, which is pretty cool. If anyone else is bidding on stuff, note that most everything is in Canadian dollars, so US bidders save a little bit. But also be aware of the shipping rates -- they're high.

If I win, this will make up for the fact that someone stole the copy of my Ratboy in the Hat rhyme I wrote and had him autograph back in 1998 at the X-Files eXpo in New York City. Bitches. He even giggled when he signed it. Giggled!

Sweet. I put a couple of the scripts on watch last night, but didn't bid...you've inspired me. I just bid on "Tunguska".

OH MAN HE GIGGLED when he signed your poem! That is so wonderful, and it's heartbreaking that someone stole it.
That is way awesome! I love the fact that Nick wrote acting notes on the scripts too... that is really hot to me to see his thought processes to play Krycek. I would totally bid if I didn't have to save a crapload of money to play fangirl in July.

And how about that dinner with David and Nick... how hot would that be if I was independently wealthy? :D I think it would be a hoot since they make each other laugh and probably would be a trip to hang out with for dinner with their individual senses of humor.

I hope you win that script! And I heard the shipping was like $300 or something? That's insane even if for a good cause.

ETA - And DUDE! I went to both days of the X-Files Expo in 1998 too! What a small world... loved the introduction to Nick with the Marita/Krycek up against the wall scene on a big screen... lots of drool.

No, shipping is almost $30. For a script that's incredibly high. But then, CanadaPost is shit.
