I was ambivalent about this episode when I first saw it. On Criminal Intent with Tom Arnold! Jeez, we're no longer ripping from the headlines, we're ripping off other branches of the same franchise!!

Which begs the question-- are they ever 'partially new'?
And just what is it about NBC Promo Dude's voice that makes me want to hurt him?

Well...I don't have sound here at work...but I'm still intruged (yeah, silly me shut off the tv immediately after the end of last night's repeat and didn't watch previews....

Law & Order: Criminal Intent: "Brother's Keeper" (The episode viggofest mentioned above). A reverend (Tom Arnold) has an affair with a male prostitute. His wife is murdered.

Law & Order: Original Recipe: "Church" A reverend of a megachurch is suspected of having an affair with a man. His wife murders someone.

Law & Order: SVU: "Sin" A reverend (Tim Daly) is suspected of having an affair with a male prostitute. His wife shoots the reverend. It's actually their son who was having the affair with the male prostitute.

I realize that Law & Order is "ripped from the headlines," but it would be nice if it wasn't the same headline.
